Hi,
The problem with just doing it in msconfig (in Windows 7, in XP it won't even disable it at
all) which just disables it in the registry, is that if anything else starts Messenger (say
if you go to Hotmail within Internet Explorer or accidently click the shortcut), it'll just
re-add itself and you'll have to disable it in msconfig again.
