If a Repair Install did not fix the problem, and you are sure that it is not a hardware
problem (e.g. bad RAM), and you unplugged all peripherals when you did the Repair Install,
then sometimes one has to face the fact that the hard drive will have to be formatted, and
a Clean Install might be the only solution. If you can boot into Safe Mode, maybe you can
save some of your data files, if you have not already backed them up.
