Initial Password Lock-out

I've had my vista for 6 months. Just last thursday, i decided to secure it
with a password since my peeps use it without my permission sometimes.(It's
never had a password before) Right after i changed my password, i logged off
then try to login again. But it DIDNT WORK!!! I've officially shut myself
outta the computer. Help please, what should i do!?

(p.s, i still remember the password i created, cus its one i use for any
other apps)

The only thing that could be is that you've used caps lock when you were
setting the password or you had num lock enabled if you used your laptop.
Anyway, I'm sure it's a typo issue..

Hello Higano87,
Power off, then power on. Choose Safe Mode. Now I need you to tell me what's
on the screen after you chose safe mode. Are you asked to login, or are you
looking at the desktop ? Please reply.
