Install it and shut up!; or, Why is it trying to update 2003, when I have 2007?

Automatic update keeps telling me, "Install updates and shut down". OK, I say. Then it tells me, "Installing updates 1 of 7". Soon, it skips to 3, then 4,5,and 7. Then it shuts down. When I restart and check Windows Updates, it tells me of the many failed installations of security updates for Office 2003.

I don't have Office 2003. I have Office 2007.

Also not installed was "Security Update for Microsoft Office Web Components (KB947319)"

The error code given is the infamous 80070666.

What am I to make of all this? And, what should I do?
