Install failed and the update never shows up again

I performed an Express update (high-priority updates only) and one of the
items included was Security Update for Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 Service
Pack 1 (KB947748). It seemed to download ok but then the installation failed
with error code 0x80070BC2. Well, I restarted the computer to finish
installing the other updates. When I booted up again I went back to Windows
Update and again performed an Express update to try to get that last package
installed. However, after scanning updates the second time, WU came back
with 0 updates for my system. My update history still shows that one as
having failed. I also looked in my Add/Remove list and among all the other
updates, it isn't listed. So if it's not installed, what happened to it?

I am running Windows 2000.

0x80070bc2 = ErrorControlRebootRequired

Go back to Windows Update website & select CUSTOM scan this time: Is
KB947748 offered now? If not, I wouldn't worry about it.
