install failure 0x643

when trying to install Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 Service Pack 1 I get
Error Code: 0x643 . Can any one help me.

I got this too. Was caused by firewall just doing its job. Since I was
running update interactively I noticed the alert and clicked Ok. You might
not see this installing updates automatically.
