how to install mql server 2000 update

ncannot install the following update on my PC which has been succesfully
downloaded:

Beveiligingsupdate voor SQL Server 2000 Service Pack 4 (KB948110)

I constantly get the message "Ready to install". I don't know if I have SQL
Server 2000 or a higher version. Who can help me solving this?

I also had the same issue but it was solved by going to the following MS site and downloading it from there manually.
Are you running Windows 2000, 2003,2008? This download is for the server side systems and it is 72MB in size.
