Install original drivers

After a format and install of Vista Home Premium, I checked the device
manager and the only banged out item was video. After installing its drivers
all items were listed as okay. Should, or better, do I have to install all
the other original drivers? They are all on a "Driver and Apps" DVD from the
manufacturer and are a real pain to install.

There is no need if all is well with the system. You might check the
web to see if your video driver is the latest, but otherwise don't fix
what ain't broke.

Hi,

Not necessarily, but you may not have full functionality of some devices
without the manufacturer's software. Things like multimedia buttons on the
keyboard, or full speaker options for the sound card may be missing.

No reason to re-install the other drivers again.
You've fixed the problem and did the right thing.

You did good!
