Install of SP1 removes the update Windows Dreamscene

Just successfully updated this Vaio SZ440n notebook Vista Ultimate with SP1
RC today. Everything went very well, however, the option to install Vista
Dreamscene was removed from Windows Ultimate update.

Shouldn't Dreamscene be available from Vista Ultimate Extras?

It is not part of SP1.

update 13:59 PDT: DreamScene is not available in the Windows Vista SP1
Beta; however, it will be made available with a later release of SP1.

This was talking about the pre-RC beta version of SP1. I noticed I no longer
seem to have it on my machine after doing the SP1RC upgrade.

Also of note, when you install SP1RC, it will remove the Group Policy
Management Console, if you use it for your network, you'll have to log in
remotely to another Vista RTM to use it.

I take that back. Strike the part about it removing Dreamscene. It's still on
my system after all.

You are asking a question about a BETA version. I don't think no one at this
time can answer you as it may or may not be included/excluded from the final
SP1.

I have installed SP1 RC1 - DreamScene is alive and well.
In fact the waterfall video covers up the annoying ''beta version" text in
the lower right corner.

So, to end this thread, those who didn't install Dreamscene prior to SP1 RC?

Like me, don't get to see Dreamscene until after SP1 is released.

Apparently for those who had it pre-SP1 RC, you luck out.

My stupid idea of the day - could you revert back to pre install of SP1 -
get DreamScene - then re-install SP1?
