Hi,

I do NOT want WMP 9 or 10. Is there a way I can install SP2 but keep
WMP8.1?

Thanks.

SP2 will install WMP 9, there is no way to avoid that...

I know, but it will obviously be included in SP3 and WMP9 is already
included in SP2. I need a way of installing SP2 and keeping WMP8.1.

Is it possible to uninstall WMP9 and install WMP8.1? Is it possible to
slipstream WMP8.1 back into a copy of SP2? There has to be some way.

Hi

You might want to ask that question in

microsoft.public.windowsmedia.player

and/or

microsoft.public.windowsxp.general
