i install updates but failed

I been trying to install updates on my windows vista but it always fails. I
have my computer set to "Automatically install new updates" but it is not
working, all the updates wasn't installed. I have now eight updates and i try
to install them but it always failed. I don't know what to do.

I hope somebody could help me with this!

Review error messages -

Click the Start buttonAll Programs and then click Windows Update.
If an error has occurred, it will be displayed with an error code that you can use to
assist in solving the problem.

Post back with your findings or search the newgroup for the error codes.

Thanks TaurArian. I finally installed the updates on my computer. I got the
error code 8007000B when i try to install the updates. I search for the code
and got an answer. In Command Prompt, i typed the, fsutil resource
setautoreset true C:\ and restart my computer and installed the the updates.

I am trying to update my friends laptop which was munged up bad. I have windows vista running and now I want to do all the updates. All updates fail to install. May get one to install now and then. there are 53 updates that need to be installed.
