Install woes

if you have install woes, where install disppears then reappears, do this:
1. install all automatic updates, restart (if no updates, you don't need to
restart)
2. start messenger
3. start installer
4. when it disappears, close messenger
5. have a cup of coffee and wait about 10 minutes. You can surf the web
this time. (try going to the messenger blog)
6. suddenly it will pop up again when it has finished.

if you are installing the first set of the three new installer programs, you
won't find this happening.

you forgot the part about deleting the installer files...

also I see that this is a good improvement over the simple installer of the
past.

Before: You installed and ran the program
Now: You try to install, you drink some coffee, go for a nap, exercise your
fingers by deleting files, then run the program.
