Installation error latest update

When trying to install Security Update for Microsoft Data Access Components
2.5 Service Pack 3 (KB911562) on a Windows 2000 Pro SP4 machine, I get this
message:
Installation Failure
Error Code: 0x80074273

Retried it several times, every time the same error.

Any suggestions how to solve this

I am seeing the same error. If it sheds any light, the server in
question is running Jenzabar software.

I contacted Microsoft and thay had me apply MDAC 2.8 SP1 from
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...DisplayLang=en

This resolved the problem for me.

Thanks for this tip Frank - however didn't work for me - anyone else got a
solution to this Error Code. Just can't install the service pack.
