Installation Error for SQL Server Pack 2

I have one update that is constantly failing. The error code is 2B08. I
checked the summary and here is the error:

Product : SQL Server Database Services 2005 (SQLEXPRESS)
Product Version (Previous): 3042
Product Version (Final) :
Status : Failure
Log File :
SQL Express Features :
Error Number : 11016
Error Description : SQL Server not responsive prior to running Repl
post script procedure

Please help me work this out.

The decimal equivalent is usually a good search term.
Typically the hits will be in the web forums which are front ends
for the product's newsgroups...
