Installation issue

Last Tuesday Microsoft came out with a number of critical updates. It took
until Saturday for my system to actually download the updates, but has yet to
install them even though I have Automatic Updates set to download and install
the updates every day at 4:00 AM. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

On the WU Website, select your history of updates - now click on failed update
(red mark) and see if there is an error code.
If there is an error code, write it down and post back or in the alternative, do
a search for the error code.

Thanks for the promptr reply, but I am not getting error messaages it i just
that the downloaded updates are not automatically installing at the time I
have set for the to do so. Continued help would be appreciated.

Humour me, is the computer on at 4:00 AM for the updates to install?

You could locate the updates in the softwaredistribution folder under downloads
and install them manually from there.

Otherwise at this stage, I don't know why.
