Installation Problem!

Hi to All

After updating my pc to Sp2..my driver has changed into Vgasave instead of
Ati Radeon 9200 series.So according to the sugesstions I got from here i
downloaded latest catalyst drivers..also unistalled the old ones from control
panel/add/remove buttons,everthing was alrite but when I started to install
the new driver i get a msg.. ' Before you run the setup try to load for your
graphic card a standard-VGA driver. Acoording to my knowledge..the
standard-vga is running...or is there anywhere i have to make changes..what
shud i do now..pls help

to find out what is the driver running goto control panel
system hardware device driver display adapters
driver details. You may have removed the software but not
unloaded the driver. If you boot in safe mode or enable
vga mode
your sure to have standard-vga loaded. inside safe mode do
the installation. Please make a system restore point
before doing anything.When you reboot in the normal wi xp
should detect it.if not try driver details update driver.
Any thing goes wrong safe mode, or roll back driver,
Can be tricky.
