I'm having an issue with Windows Vista Ultimate. There are certain programs
like Windows Live Messenger and BOINC that use Windows Installer &
InstallShield Wizard respectively that when I try to install, they take
forever to do so. At the time of this posting, I'm waiting for BOINC to
actually begin installing and it's been sitting for about 20 minutes now.
Is there a way I can fix this problem so that they'll actually install
programs faster? I never had this problem when I was running Windows XP as
they would install them normally and take at most a couple minutes to finish.
