I'm not certain how to get to the area that sets whether the machine reboots
when it blue screens from a command prompt, but that would be a start. You
need to see what the message is.
If you have data you need to recover you could do a parallel install to
another folder and them change the registry setting on the failed
installation to see what happened... or just reinstall everything from the
start and make sure the reboot on fail isn't set.
It's most likely a driver issue but without seening the errorm message
