I get error #80050007...access denied when trying to install this update
using Windows Update...I'm running XP Home and am having trouble
understanding the Online Response instructions as well as the Troubleshooting
help topics....Am I just in over my head and doomed to dragging my CPU back
to the shop that built it and begging for mercy with a low cost/free repair???

Larry, don't install driver updates from windows update. Update from
the device manufacturer's website.

Thanks Rock....I think I've solved my dilemma...got the driver from Silicon's
site and, well.......time will tell but I'm a whole lot more confident it's
fixed! :-)
