Installation of SP2 reads "failure"

I tried upgrading my Windows XP to SP2 but it took about 90 minutes to
download (unfinished) before my computer froze. When I tried to reboot, there
was a message saying to remove the now unstable program and reinstall.

Problem is my computer says there's no program of such to uninstall
(guessing because it didn't finish upgrading) even though SP2 is listed in my
computer. When I tried to reinstall the SP2, it reads "failure".

How can I install SP2 now that my computer is unstable?
