I have been trying to install the winxp sp1a, but it keeps on trying to
install in C: by default, which does not have enough space, when my primary
drive is F: and my win xp is installed in F: . How do I change the drive in
which the service pack is being installed?

Any solutions?

Other solution which may work: if you have SP1a on a stand alone CD
copy the CD to your drive F: and start installation from there. If
you don't have the CD you can order it here:
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/d...1/ordercd.mspx

I have actually downloaded the entire service pack 1 file, as a file by
itself, which is placed in F:. Even when i try to install from there, using
that file, it still tries to install in C: ..

or is there any way to change the names of the drives? maybe change my F: to
C:?
