In Auto Updates IE 7 was installed, I found my PC very slow, and I have a web
site where almost all graphics had X box. I wrote to Microsoft Support was
told how to uninstall IE 7. Now PC is even slower, have all graphics on in
my site. Now when I want to write an E-mail in OE and want to change the
color or font by right click/Font I receive a "501 Error/ Permission denied"
message. Also when O go on sites I now get 9 fo 10 times "Page cannot be
seen"... ever since IE 7, before 1 out of 1000 times if not less. Even when
I Refresh the same page is seen. I have to close IE and go back to open the
web site I was opening before. Now, I just did an "Window Updates" search
and they found 8 items to Install, which IE 7 was in there also. I do not
want IE 7 to install, I tried to find a way to "remove" IE 7 in that list and
I cannot. Is there a way to Update Windows and remove IE 7 in the list? In
case you need to know how I uninstalled IE 7: Control Panel/Add,Remove/check
the Show Updates on top of Add/Remove, find IE 7 Update and click Remove. I
did restarted my PC, it was removed. Thank you for your time.

Go to Windows Update > Select CUSTOM option > Uncheck IE7 and accept the
"Don't notify me again" prompt > Install the other updates.

Tyvm PA Bear, I did the steps and it worked.
Now I would like to know if I should return the Update to Express now. If I
do return to Express will the IE7 come up again in the updates?
Thanks again for your time.
