Installed Update 12 jan - Internet Explorer can't connect.

Intalled latest updates on 12/01/2005 - 3 fixes.
Then Internet explorer could not connect.
Firefox & Outlook Express working fine.
Un-installed fixes & rebooted - 2 userer accounts dissappeared from 'login
creen' . Internet explorer still not working.
Rebooted & was notified of new updates - installed them again! restarted and
all user accounts are back! but IE still not working.

Attached old pc to DSL modem internet explorer working fine. Compared
connection setting between pcs everything seemed ok.


Running XP + SP2, Norman antivirus & Zone Alarm firewall- Windows firewall
is turned off. Connect to internet via DSL.
