I misread this the first time because of the double negative.
Since few drivers are Microsoft, except those for Microsoft hardware,
it is difficult to know what you are using.
Do you mean you are using the native Vista drivers?
Those are developed by the 3rd parties owning the hardware and made
available after the 3rd party drivers have passed appropriate tests.
Instead go directly to the hardware manufacturer and get their latest
Windows Vista drivers.
If there are no drivers available, considering replacing the hardware
if maximum performance is desired.
With only vista native drivers, you may be taking a significant
performance hit since often newer and better drivers are available.
