Installed Windows Vista in 53 hours

I was looking at all the posts regarding Ubuntu. Must be pretty
complicated. I think Vista is wonderful. I installed Vista in just under
53 hours. Wow, it took four of use to read the instructions, but we did it.

I love that. I was a Postal Employee also and it only took me 44.5 hours to
install Vista on my PC. Upgraded everything, Just FYI.

53 hours? What are the specs for your machine?

Was this a clean install or an upgrade over WinXP?

I installed Vista, Office 2007, N360, True Image, Disk Director, Nero 7,
Adobe 8, and Itunes in less than 4 hrs.

I emailed a letter to my neighbor across the street(south side of the
road) by placing it in my mailbox with the usual flag up to notify the
postal service of outgoing mail.

The north and south side each have different zip codes and are serviced
by two separate city post offices but all the mailboxes, rural delivery,
are on my side of the road(north side).

It took 7 business days for it to be delivered across the street.
Now that is efficiency!

At least he got his mail. ;-) My mail carrier is near retirement and I
guess his eyesight is failing. Nearly every week I get mail for a
neighbor with the same house number as mine that's one street away. I
can only imagine who gets my mail by mistake.

Even funnier, every so often if I happen to be outside or looking out
the window I see him put mail in my mailbox and go several doors down,
then he backs up and brings me additional mail. One day he did that
routine twice.
