Installer error 1101

Recently received the error 1101 from a program I am installing in Vista home
Premium.

Error 1101. Error Reading from file
*26*Microsoft installer 8c8add9c-1f30-4b1a-927e b72cc4aadb91 \1033 mst

I suspect the vista installer has become corrupt of the registries have
become corrupt.

Does anyone know how to reload the Vista V4 installed again.

I am new to this forum, did you find out how to re-install Microsoft
Installer? I am having the same issue trying to install Goldmine
