I've been experiencing the same installer error 2771 whenever I start
Windows Live Messenger 8.5.1302.1018, after installing XP SP3 RC. Messenger
still works fine though. Should I reinstall Windows Live Messenger, and would
that rollback any updates applied by XP SP3?
