I havent been able to install any active-x controls like Flash Player on my
V/premium OS. I was pretty well bald before I started with Vista, now Im a
skin head! Ha
I also can download some programs .exe but others I cant. Ive tried turning
off all the security settings, enabled a standard account but my admin
account still wont give me admin rights...
I dont have the restore disk, so I cant go that route. Any suggestians?
PLEASE? Im starting on my hairy legs next...

I'll give you some advise. You had better stop whatever you're doing and
come with some restore disks some kind of way, if you are installing non
Vista compliant software on Vista that can cause problems for Vista in a
heart beat.

Also, you should look for software that runs on Vista.
