Installing ActiveSync

If I am currently using AS 3.8 and will be using a new phone/pda that uses
AS 4.2

should I uninstall AS 3.8 before installinging AS 4.2.


If yes, should the partnership(s) with AS 3.8 be deleted first?

A lot of bug-fixes and some improvements have been added along the 4.x
versions ... up to 4.5 which is stable and available for quite some time
now.
