Installing Google Earth

Just installed Google Earth, one of the strangest installations I've
seen. Almost two minutes went by after clicking the .exe file before
the installer finally appeared onscreen, looked like nothing was
happening. And it didn't even ask where to install, just plunked
itself into the C drive. Not very user friendly. I've installed
dozens of programs under Vista, none acted quite like this...

I'm surprised that you didn't advise him to quickly uninstall Google Earth,
reformat his PC, rush to install Ubuntu so all his problems would be solved!
Remember to mention the fact that Linux/Ubuntu has NEVER in the history of
the planet, ever gotten a virus! Don't leave that out!

I have Google Earth installed on my Ubuntu machine so, yes, that would
be another alternative. Thanks for the heads up.

How about preaching in the Ubuntu group to format their PC and install
Vista?

Outhouse Express top posting corrected.

I only preach about things I believe in, of course! That said, when
Vista SP 2 is released, I will probably buy it for gaming and install it
on the Ninja computer I just built that is currently hosting XP Home in
Spanish. The reason it is hosting XP is for gaming, nothing else.
