Installing IE 7

I have a Windows 2000 Professional operating system and I was never asked to
install IE 7 during any updates. I am trying to download the upgrade now as I
am on IE 6 and it says my operating system does not support IE 7. How can I
get this update?

While Win2K users could beta test IE7, the final release is not supported in
Win2K. See

Upgrade your Operating System from Windows 2000 to some operating system
that meets the requirements of Internet Explorer 7...
