Hi,

I have Vista home premium, and norton 360. I recently downloade
Internet explorer 8 beta, which unstalled IE7. The only problem was IE
isnt compatible with norton yet, and it keeps switching the norto
phishing filter off.

I would like to reinstall IE7 without having to unistall IE8, is thi
possible, and how would I do this?

Thanks

Go to Control Panel > Programs and Features

Click on the 'View all updates' in the Tasks list

In the Microsoft Windows section, look for

'Windows Internet Explorer 8 Beta 2'

Uninstalling it will take you back to IE7..

Copy and paste into cmd and make sure you right click and run as admin
then restart your computer and then you should be able to uninstall
through the program and features and clicking on installed updates.

FORFILES /P %WINDIR%\servicing\Packages /M
Microsoft-Windows-InternetExplorer-8*.mum /c "cmd /c echo Uninstalling
package @fname && start /w pkgmgr /up:@fname /norestart"
