Installing KB884020 System Hung

Hi there,

What can I do if the PC has hung during the installation of KB884020 (patch
for XP SP2)?
If I reboot will I lose informaton. I am supporting this PC via remote tools
so don't want to lose this connection as it is in another country.

Any help/suggestions are appreciated
