Installing Microsoft Money

I've tried installing microsoft money several times on my computer. I had it
on here to begin with, it came with the computer. But I got a virus and had
to start allowing the windows automatic updates. Some of the Microsoft Money
files were corrupt so I had to uninstall it and re-install. The installation
looked like it worked and I could get in and use money but every time I would
close it and click on the icon it would start to re-install it again. I
would click cancel and it would keep trying to install it several times while
money tries to open. I've never had this sort of problem installing a
program. And also last night I tried to download and install DivX movie
codecs and It would say the installation failed but I could still access the
files. I think the windows updates somewhere along the line messed up my
installations. Please help?
