installing Microsoft updates

Hello!

I have a quick question. Some time ago I downloaded the SP2 update. I
didn't install it right away because I was weary and wanted more information.
I have since decided that I do not want to install it. In the meantime, I
have downloaded other updates, without installing them (for fear of
triggering the SP2 to install). How do I install the rest of the updates
WITHOUT installing the Service Pack 2? Is there a file somewhere where I can
delete it from? The update icon reads "click here to install" so it doesn't
seem to give me a choice as to what to do. Help?
