Installing .NET 3.5

Please somebody tell me how to install Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 Service
Pack 1 and .NET Framework 3.5 . Every time i try to install it gives me
following error

Installation Failure

Error Code: 0x80070645 ell me how to install

yes, i'm having the same issue and cannot seem to figure out why.
I wrote to Microsoft help and got a bunch of links, but not really any
solution, whatsoever.
It's affecting me, so that I cannot install my printer software update too.
Therefore I cannot use my printer wirelessly.
If you hear of a solution, please say something. Thanks.

Same here -- no luck installing .NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1 and .NET
Framework 3.5 Family UPdate for .Net versions 2.0 through 3.5. Been trying
for a month! Do I really need ALL these .net framework versions??

Same case.
I am working from two days to solve the problem. Found several pseudo
solution on the Net and all failed to solve the question.
I am going to stop automatic windows update, to find peace and serenity !!!

If any checked solution, pls pls notify it here. Thanks

Problem Solved: I contacted microsoft support via email and received
instruction from a very nice person who explained step by step. I would
suggest you do the same if this is still an issue for you. They will send
you links to download. Worked for me!
