installing windows live

i am unable to download it.keep getting error message os check x 80280004

What Windows version are you trying to install on?

Generally, most people see this when they're trying to install on Windows Server 2003.
You'll need to bypass the installer and install the products manually.

You can do so using the MSI (Microsoft Installer) files on my blog:
http://messengergeek.spaces.live.com...DA1!3332.entry

Note that you will need to install not just Messenger, but all the other components listed
the Messenger heading as well (with the exception of Live Call, which is optional).
