I am trying to install Works 4.0 to a compter with Vista Home premium, and I
get a message that says " can't open setup exe. file." Is Works 4.0
compatible with Vista?

Since Works 4 was released in 1999, or earlier, I doubt it
You could try installing in Compatibility mode, or probably beter to buy an
updated/later version

Unless you have an overriding reason to use Works, IMHO - you'd be better
off installing OpenOffice.org. It has most of the functionality of MS
Office and is highly compatible, but does not cost anything.

In fact as an addition to what DL said, you'd actually be far better off
with Open Office 3 than Works......

Thanks, but I have some templates on Works that I would like to use. Sounds
like I'll have to start them over.
