Instant search not working

Hi,

Instant search is not searching inside (ie contents of) pdf files - the
windows desktop search (on my XP) was working GREAT, but after (a fresh, not
upgrade) installation of Vista, I lost the index and needed to be rebuilt.
The "pdf filter" is checked along with "Index properties and file contents"
box, in "Indexing Options->Advanved option->File Types". I have rebuilt the
index many times and waited long enough for "Indexing complete" to appear on
the "Indexing options" tab, but still search does NOT work INSIDE the pdf
documents. Any suggestions?
