I subscribe to a photography magazine which includes monthly instructional
discs, also I have purchased a Photoshop Elements dvd, all of which cause
problems, they may start up, may cause a blue screen, may be working audio
wise but have of the video is green and then tells me each and mostly every
time that Quick Time either has stopped working or that it is not installed
(which it is). I am not computer savy, just want my videos to work so I can
learn photoshop or lessons. Please tell me what is wrong in simple layman's
language. Thanks!

I have always found QuickTime to be a bit hostile to a windows environment.
Hopefully you can find a QuickTime upgrade for Vista. The
http://www.nasa.org site pushes it like a drug.

Caution: The above referenced web site is NOT the NASA site most people know
for space photos etc.

The real NASA site is www.nasa.gov

Don't be fooled!
