Integration Components won't Install

Still working on that P2V project. Brought the weird machine (XP/SP3)
into Windows 7, and it's workign there. Sorta. I can't get the
Integration Components installed. Every time, it appears to be just
about done, then it says that the setup was interrupted and performs a
rollback of the install.

Anyone seen this, and managed to get around it?

Not new, but rare and no easy fix. Have you looked at the msi
installer log?

Yeah, the near total lack of googlehits was giving me that impression.

Didn't know I could! At this prompting, I just found -
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/223300 - will try to take a look at
that, and see if it makes any sense.
