were well most of them were up to date, but after the latest scan i have
been told that i have 14 drivers that are out of date.i went to the web
site followed the NOTICE,for more information and i downdloaded the
driver into the main drive C. Then it tells me to open cmd so ive done
that ,my problem starts here i type in the driver

instructed on the notice page ,and i get this in the comand box..is not
recognised as an internal or external comand, operable program or batch
file.can some one please tell me what im doing wrong ,i have contacted
the techs at driver agent they have jsut told me that im typing the
driver in wrong i hope this is enough info cheers Rob.

If you have the install files on the root of the C: drive then you may
want to change directories when you open up the Command Prompt. By
default the Command Prompt is assigned to C:\Users\"User Name" so you
would want to type in "cd .." (without quotes of course) until it just
reads C:\ and then try the instructions you were given.

I hope that helps!

I've not had to install Intel drivers from the command line since either DOS
or Win 3.1! If you have an executable file for your drivers you should be
able to double click on the file and install. This has worked for me many
times...

FWIW,

No need to go further. NEVER use a driver update program. Only download
the drivers that you need. NEVER update just because new drivers are
available.
