Intel - Network - Intel(R) 82567V-2 Gigabit Network Connection

This Windows Vista optional update, published 6/27/2009, returns message of
"Windows Update error 80070103". My HP m9600t computer is running Windows
Vista Ultimate 64-bit with Raid1 hard drives. I am unable to determine which
"driver that is already installed on your (my) computer" or which "driver
that has a lower compatibility rating" already installed.

Additionally, in review of my update history and viewing the details of an
identically titled update, there is an update completed August 17, 2009, a
couple days after first use of my computer, with a descriptive detail of
"Intel Network software update released in March, 2009".

As you can see, the published date of the update I am trying to complete is
June 27, 2009 while the one already updated is for an earlier date of March
2009.

Your advise is solicited.

You should NOT use winupdate for drivers, use only the manufacturers sites,
and then unless its to cure a bug or increase functionality why update a
driver?

If it aint broke, dont fix it
