windows downloaded a critical update. Then a blue intel graphic screen
showed up in my task bar. Then a day later every time I load my computer my
screen should start in 600 x 800 but it's starts ok, then the screen flickers
then it goes to 1024 x 768 and throws every thing of wack.. Can u please
email me back at with some info. Even I reset it and
reboot it goes back to 1024 x 768

That shouldn't have been a critical update - it was a driver update for your
Intel graphics adaptor.

Have you clicked the Intelgraphics icon, and used that to change your
preferences? - it's obviously decided that for the size of monitor you have
(17"??), the 'optimum' is a 1024x768 resolution, and you need to remind it
who's boss of the PC!! <g>
If that doesn't work, you can try either uninstalling the driver (while in
Safe Mode) from Device Manager, or going to your motherboard manufacturer's
website and upgrading to their latest version.
