I managed to find other threads on using WebDAV on Vista, but none
offered a clear answer. My particular problem is when I attempt to map
an https folder system to a drive letter using Vista's built-in wizard
(available from the computer folder).
I am trying to integrate a folder system that uses WebDAV (called
"netfiles" by the university of minnesota) so I can access files as if
it were a folder. This works perfectly in Windows XP.
When attempting to make the connection on Vista Ultimate 64-bit, I am
asked for my password several times. Then it informs me it cannot open
the folder - would I like to see the default view instead? If I accept
it opens a basic HTML view in Internet Explorer.
I have already tried reinstalling Microsoft's Update for Web Folders
(KB907306), which installed correctly but had no effect on the result. I
would appreciate any help on this subject. Thanks for your time!
