Intermitent 'Cannot Display' page error

This has me scratching my head. While trying to access a site (any site), I
sometimes get the 'Cannot Display This Page' message. I have found if I go
look at another few pages, unrelated to the problem page, I can then try the
page I wanted, and it will then come up.

I use XP SP2, IE 6.0.29 on a HP Pavillion v70s.

I cannot say that it happens 'after doing' this or that. It is completely
random. I'd sure appreciate any help from you people!
