Yes most likely the proc is your problem. I have tried other PCs with similar specs /w
Messenger voice conversations and the performance was not usable. However, they weren't on
broadband and this wasn't recent.
350Mhz is basically scraping the end of the barrel in terms of Windows Live Messenger system
