Intermittent Logitech keyboard problems

Since upgrading to Vista home premium, I have had intermittent problems with
my keyboard not working. A restart seems to fix the problem. Just
wondering if anyone has any ideas what might cause this and if there is
anything I can do about it.

Thank you for any help.

The swami asks:

What type of keyboard, wired or wireless?
What model number of keyboard?
What drivers are you using?
What "intermittent problems"?

Batteries die in your crystal ball again, Cal or were you simply blinded by
your excitement at Cal's having crushed Arizona?:-)

I have a tower PC. It is an Internet pro wired keyboard, intermittent in
some times it works then it doesn't - no lights on , when I type nothing
happens. Then when I restart computer everything is fine again.

I have used it on a laptop whilst my computer was at repair shop having
Vista installed and had no problems with it.

All drivers were updated when Vista installed.

After recharging his crystal ball batteries, the Swami says:

"It will be SC (the no. 1 rated team in the country) vs. Cal in the Rose Bowl
next January -- Cal will win."

("And Stanturd will be last in the PAC 10.")

Is this a USB keyboard? Have you tried other USB ports? If it is a PS2
keyboard, perhaps the PC jack is faulty or dirty.

Neither "tower PC" nor "Internet pro" are brands or model numbers. Without
checking the manufacturer's web site, how can you be sure that all drivers were
updated?
