Internet Connection

Both my friend and I upgraded and both of us lost our internet connection!
We're now both back to Windows Messenger! Stupid flaming Microsoft!!

Got the same problem. Does not log in and the internet connection is broken
without error message.

Additional info: Windows XP, the new version of Live messanger as mail from
Microsoft 20090111. Have done uninstall and install again but still the some.

A solution: If You are using F-secure Anti- Virus:

Open F-secure, Click on InternetShield in the left margin, click on advanced
down to the right, click on Dial-up control (freely translated from Swedish),
the seccond last under Internetshield in the left margin, deactivate the
Dial-up control.
Restart computer.
