I recently purchased a new laptop that has Vista. When I connect to the
internet I use DIAL UP. It will shows connected with dial up to local &
internet. Then in drops the internet and shows local only and I can't get to
any web pages. But I am still connected with the dial up. My desktop uses
Windows XP and I have no problem with it. I did a fix and restore and the
fist time it showed network adapter problems, then it showed LAN setting
problems, but I don't use the wireless or the LAN. I can only use dial up.
Does anyone know what i need to do to keep an internet connection with my
laptop. Any help is appreciated.
